You choose the amount in increments of $10. Your additional support will be used to continue the work that Turpin Cares does. This includes:

• Stocking the Toiletry Free Store, which takes place every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at the Morgan Park Presbyterian Church (110th Place & Longwood). As of the fall 2022, the Free Store has distributed over 70,000 items to over 3,700 households since it started in May 2020 in response to the global pandemic.
• Stocking the Community Pantry Box, which is nestled inside the Edna White Community Garden at 111th & Esmond across from the police station. Also installed in response to the pandemic, the pantry box provides non-perishable food items to those who need it. To date, over 16,000 items have been given away. It is refilled every 2-3 days, and each filling costs roughly $30-$40.
• Providing Starter Kits to people moving into permanent housing. Each family's needs are different, but most kits include essentials for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms.
